Graphic Era Global School – A Brief History
Graphic Era Global School, located on Post Office Road, Clement Town, Dehradun, was established in 2016 by Dr. (Prof.) Kamal Ghanshala, with the vision of "Transforming Dreams into Reality."
The school is guided by its visionaries, Dr. (Prof.) Kamal Ghanshala, Chairman, and Mrs. Rakhee Ghanshala, Vice Chairman. Dr. Ghanshala is also the founder of the Graphic Era Group of Institutions (1993), which has become a beacon of excellence in education over the past 30 years.
GEGS is affiliated with CISCE, offering ICSE & ISC curriculum
Affiliated with ICSE and ISC, the school caters to about 1000 students and has a dedicated team of 60+ teachers, including two special educators and counsellors.
The school is led by Principal Mr. Raj Kumar Trehan.
The campus is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities including well-equipped science laboratories (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and STEM), two computer labs, and a spacious library with a rich collection of books, magazines, and chronicles.
Students enjoy a variety of sports and co-scholastic activities, with dedicated spaces for dance, music, art, football, cricket, basketball, tennis, squash, swimming, skating, and even a shooting range. Accessibility features like elevators and special pathways for differently-abled students ensure smooth movement across the campus.
The academic schedule begins with a 20-minute assembly and class teacher time, followed by 7 periods of 35–40 minutes (5 periods on Saturdays), along with 50–60 minutes for co-scholastic activities. School hours are from morning until 2:00 pm in summers and 2:20 pm in winters.
